This is the most powerful DC electric bowthruster on the market.
A very effective alternative to hydraulic thrusters that historically
have been used for this performance. |

Note:
All Sidepower thrusters get their model name and thrust ratings
from the actual performance you can expect in a boat, at the
voltage a normal installation will provide at the thruster.
You will often get an even higher performance from the 24V
versions, but we have chosen to use the "net" performance
at 10.5V. If you compare with other thrusters beware of "name
games" and ask for rating details. |
To
gain total control of your boat the solution is to install a sternthruster, leaving
the main engines to propel the boat forward and backward as they were intended.
The Sidepower dual joystick panel and docking control panel provide control of
bow and stern thrusters with just one hand.
